• Excel Uses and recommends it 4 episodes "you open an Excel sheet and you have the times per day and you write down what you were doing or what you did in the last 15 minutes" +5 others
• Video Sales Letter (VSL) Recommends it 2 episodes "I want you to add a video sales letter before the call. Before you ever talk to a customer, you should have a video sales letter. Now, if you have two conversations, there's two VSSLs. Inside of the VSSL, I can walk you through how to structure it. I like having a little nugget in there — having one CTA that's like, 'Hey, by the way, text me your headcount. Text me the date of the event.' We just want to have something so we have some indication they actually watched it." Only The
• Meta Ads Recommends it 4 episodes "We'd run Meta ads, it goes to the one-day workshop. You're going to have to sift through the crap, but you also have the ocean to go after. This is for sure what I would start with on the demand side." +17 others
• Earplugs Uses it 2 episodes "Sleep until I wake up, caffeine, nicotine, earplugs, a room with no windows" +1 other
• Meta Uses and recommends it "I think you can totally spend 50 100,000 a day for sure just on meta." +5 others
• Speed to Lead Recommends it "Speed to lead is especially important — talking like 60 seconds — because you have super high intent people but they're shopping. The first person who responds is the person who gets the customer. If somebody else can see them tomorrow, they'll see them and not you. Everything across the board is improved with speed." Only The
• Upfront Payment / Cash Upfront Strategy Recommends it "My position would be: 'Hey, there are two ways to pay — you can pay on a credit card or you can pay using financing, but either way we need to pay now to get this whole process started.' I prefer that especially from a cash conversion cycle perspective. You can't half finish your mouth, so you're going to have to end up paying it anyway — you might as well just prepay." Only The
• SDR/BDR appointment setting model Recommends it "I'd rather have them just set appointments for you because your sales volume is like two a week. If you had two guys just setting appointments for you, the likelihood that you'll close them is significantly higher and you're also the business owner and you can flex on some of these things a little bit better. Just have them be like SDRs, BDRs, booking my calendar completely. If you have eight appointments a week, you quadruple your business." Only The
• Sales role-playing training Recommends it "In here it's all role playing — like forever, just like you train sales to role playing. You have to get them to try so that you can correct them and have more feedback loops. Just think how many feedback loops do I have with these people — it's the only way they learn. Just saying it at them will do literally nothing." Only The
• Survey close / lead capture via QR code Recommends it "Put a QR code on the screen and I'll send them to you. So you actually come in — I'd probably think of it as like 20 mistakes that people who are buying event planning make. I just go through all the mistakes people make, with each of them proof of one person underneath saying you're awesome at that thing. Then say, 'Hey, if you want the slides, go grab them.' The opt-in says, 'Do you run events? Do you host events and how many per year?' And then that way that just becomes a lead list for you. So you're not pitching — the CTA is 'do you want the slides?' which makes it much easier for the customer." Only The
• The Algorithm Recommends it "If you guys haven't read this book, it recently came out. It's called The Algorithm. It's from Tesla's former president who kind of reimagined some of their stuff. And basically it's Elon's approach to manufacturing anything. I made this mandatory for all the people who report to me because this is the process that I first heard about two years ago from some interview that Elon did and I was like, man, this is really good." Only The
• VSL (Video Sales Letter) Recommends it "I would have people watch a VSL and set an appointment for later that day for a close. Do scan plus VSL at the same time so that they understand what's going on, but the whole time they're being sold. Then right afterwards, you can have those close meetings." Only The
• Creatine monohydrate Uses it "I try to take a lot of supplements for my health like creatine." +26 others
• Fish oil Uses it "I take fish oil." +11 others
• Multivitamin Uses it "I take a multivitamin." +6 others
• Kitchen timer Uses it "Then I just set a kitchen timer for when I how long I expect a task to last." Only The
• Caffeine Uses it "Sleep until I wake up, caffeine, nicotine, earplugs, a room with no windows" +4 others
• Nicotine Uses it "Sleep until I wake up, caffeine, nicotine, earplugs, a room with no windows" Only The
• Bumble Uses it "We met on Bumble. I don't know if you've heard about it, but it's a dating app." +1 other
• CLOSER sales framework Recommends it "So, you're going to take more phone sales. You're going to try and close them on the phone. When you're going through the sales process, you go CLOSER. Clarify whether they need this or your kid's going to go away." Only The
• Skool Uses it "So starting March 1st, I'm opening up a community on School for million-dollar plus business owners." +1 other
• Chipotle Uses it "protein shakes, Chipotle, I split a bedroom. I made my living expenses as small as humanly possible." +1 other
• Local vs. Global Empathy Frame Recommends it "And so the question is, do I want to have local or global empathy? Do I want to have empathy for the person or do I want to have empathy for the business?... And so I would encourage you to use that frame when you're having these hard conversations: I'm going to take on this guilt. I'm going to take on this pain so that everyone else here doesn't have to suffer." Only The
• Google Ads Recommends it "Right now you have Google Ads that are working obviously, right? I would just actually continue to encourage you to just keep increasing Google ad spend. You're spending 12,000 a month — you're in Orange County. You could probably go to several hundred thousand a month before you even get close to capping that area." +10 others
• Google PPC Recommends it "If you're local, ads are going to work by far the fastest between Meta and Google PPC." Only The
• iPhone 17 Recommends it "iPhone 17 and beyond, the mic and the camera on those specifically are good enough that you actually don't need any external mics whatsoever and it just was good enough that it worked." +1 other
• Vibe coding Recommends it "What I would do is I'd vibe code an agent that searches the whole Telegram and looks for past responses that are similar to the question and then suggests it to you or your team, and then you can check or exit and then it sends it. That way you're going to dramatically increase the leverage that you have for each of your delivery people." +2 others
• Scaling Roadmap Recommends it "I reference the Scaling Roadmap. Wherever you're at, you should check out where on there — it's pretty spot on, and it's because businesses are not as unique as we think they are. Patterns exist across all of them. So that thing's free, you can go grab it." Only The
• OpenClaw Recommends it "Third down the list would be I would spin up an OpenClaw instance and do outbound to brands over ex followers or ex sales on TikTok." +24 others
• Goodwill Recommends it "Stop buying new clothes. Go to Goodwill only." Only The
• LegalZoom Recommends it "go on LegalZoom, step one, get documents" Only The
• Books Recommends it "So, invest your $1,000 into the thing that you research to be the fastest skill to upgrade that's available. So, buy books, buy courses." Only The
• Nothing matches.
