Hyperion, for anybody who's not a super sci-fi nerd, was a book from the 1980s that won a whole slew of sci-fi awards, that is still very well regarded and virtually unknown as a mainstream book. What turned the corner for me when I was reading the book was when they introduced AI — a book from the 1980s introduced AI as a very real question, concern, worry that we're talking about right now. It introduced this idea of AGI in the 1980s in a sci-fi story about what humanity would look like in an age beyond AGI. That's what's so powerful, what makes that book such a great book."

"Two questions and a confirmation is something that we use in the field of intelligence to collect as much sensitive information from a target as possible without ever exposing the target to sensitive information about ourselves.
