Top 5 Android 17 Features: I Swear It's New!
Marques Brownlee runs through the five most useful Android 17 features, focusing on small but meaningful quality-of-life and interface improvements rather than big overhauls.
The gist
-
The new bubble bar lets you keep up to four floating app windows open at once, making it easy to multitask across apps.
-
Wi-Fi and mobile data now have separate Quick Settings toggles again, removing the extra tap that the old merged internet toggle required.
-
Foldable game mode splits the screen between gameplay and an on-screen gamepad, making phone gaming more practical on devices like Pixel Fold.
-
Screen recording now includes a built-in movable selfie overlay, so creators no longer need a third-party app to record reaction-style content.
